1. Brenda nominated her grandson Tre’. Tre’ is 16 years old.
2. Carmen nominated her daughter Alyssa. Alyssa is 14 years old.
Brenda writes: “Tre’ was diagnosed at three months of age, he has two brothers and one sister. His father is in the military so they have to move often and find it hard to find good resources for him. They are lucky to be in North Carolina now where his mom has found some great resources so we are really excited about him getting involved in sports and social events for people with disabilities!!!
How would a pair of our jeans make a difference in his life? “Tre’ has always had a very hard time with buttons and zippers and as he has gotten older it has been so very hard to find elastic waistband jeans or any pants for him. His mother doesn’t sew, so that hasn’t really been an option, but when she has tried to fix his pants they still didn’t fit right. I would be excited for him to have.”
Carmen writes: “We don’t have a lot of options for clothes for Alyssa and we’re tired of Walmart selections. There’s just not much there that we have to work with. All we want is for her to be the best she can be.
How would a pair of our jeans make a difference in her life? : “All she wears is leggings and sweats and capris. I would like for her to be more fashionable so she can feel good about herself
